AUCNET INC., an information distribution support service provider (Head office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director and President: Kiyotaka Fujisaki; hereafter “Aucnet”) will fully renew its B2B e-commerce website for purchase and liquidation of used luxury brand items on April 17, 2019.
Aucnet offers 3 purchasing and liquidation services for businesses that deal in used luxury brand items such as watches, bags, jewelry and fine arts. These include weekly real-time auctions, fixed time auctions and a shared inventory market (“AUC BRAND MALL”) in which items can be sold at any time while still being displayed for sale in a shop.
This renewal improves user-friendliness by integrating the search function for approximately 9,500 items listed per auction with approximately 2,500 items listed in shared inventory, to enable buyers to search from approximately 12,000 items. Previously, buyers had to search for auction items and shared inventory items on separate screens. Aucnet also improved the site’s design to make it easier to search and view items. In addition, sellers can now upload item information and photos for auction or shared inventory directly from their smartphone or tablet, and the number of photos per item has increased to 24. These changes simplify the time-consuming listing process and increase product information.
For our 200+ overseas buyers in markets including Hong Kong, the United States, Canada, Southeast Asia, and Europe, Aucnet has added a function to switch between Japanese and English language, and enabled 24 hour a day transactions regardless of time zone. Other functionality has also been significantly enhanced, for example by enabling private intra-group trade for businesses operating multiple stores.
